Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Mountain Blue Sky Dispensary. We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to have a great experience. Because our products are consumable and regulated, our refund and return rules are specific and firm. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. All Sales Are Final
Due to the nature of hemp-derived products and regulatory requirements, all sales are final. We cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on:
- Opened products
- Used products
- Partially consumed products
- Products damaged by the customer
- Products returned without authorization
However, certain exceptions may apply in the cases outlined below.
2. Incorrect or Defective Items
If you received:
- The wrong item, or
- A defective item (e.g., non-functioning vape device, damaged jar on arrival)
you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the issue
- A brief description of the problem
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we may:
- Replace the product
- Issue store credit
We do not accept returns without prior approval.
3. Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages
Your options depend on whether you purchased $3 Purchase Protection at checkout.
3.1 If You Purchased $3 Purchase Protection
If your package is:
- Lost
- Stolen
Damaged during transit
YOU (the customer) are responsible for filing a claim directly with our protection provider. We cannot file the claim for you.
Once the protection provider approves your claim, they may provide:
- A replacement order, or
- A refund
Claims denied by the protection provider cannot be refunded or replaced by Mountain Blue Sky Dispensary.
3.2 If You Decline Purchase Protection
If you do not purchase protection:
Mountain Blue Sky Dispensary is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once handed to the carrier.
- You must contact USPS, UPS, or the applicable carrier directly to file a claim.
- We cannot refund, replace, or re-ship orders impacted by carrier issues.
This includes packages marked “Delivered” that were not received.
4. Customer Address Errors
Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate shipping information.
We cannot provide refunds or replacements for orders that are:
- Misdelivered due to incorrect addresses
- Returned due to incomplete addresses
- Lost due to address errors
If the package is returned to us, the customer will be responsible for additional shipping fees to re-send the order.
5. Order Cancellation Requests
You may request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order, provided processing has not begun.
Once your order has entered processing or shipped:
- It cannot be canceled
- It cannot be refunded
- It cannot be changed
This is consistent with our Shipping Policy and Terms & Conditions.
6. Returns Due to Legal Restrictions
If a product in your order cannot legally be shipped to your state or region:
- We will notify you
- Restricted items will be canceled
- A refund will be issued for those item(s) only
The remainder of your order will be shipped as normal.
7. Quality, Potency, and Effects
Hemp-derived products affect everyone differently. Because individual results vary, we cannot offer refunds or replacements based on:
- Personal preference
- Taste
- Strength/potency perception
- Product not producing “expected effects”
- Change of mind after purchase
All product descriptions on our website are accurate to the best of our knowledge.
